I stood at the wait desk for about 5min before the chef yelled from the kitchen she’ll be with you in a moment. Server was very pleasant but overwhelmed clearly inadequate staffing for such a large place there was one server and one chef. So i walk in bar counter is FULL, bartender is NOT wearing a face mask! This is my fisrt time being here, an most likely MY LAST!!! I am atill waiting for a drink!! Its been almost mins!!! Its not my job as a customer to come to the bartender, when there are tables away from the bar! I am here to be waited on!!! This place SUCKS!!!īy far one of the WORST breakfast experiences I’ve had in a very long time. We ordered some drinks and appetizers and I highly recommend the cheese pizza and loaded fries! We stopped by at the club after the beach and loved the vibes. The peach sangria was absolutely terrible. The baked flounder with crab imperial again hit the mark. The NE clam chowder was thick creamy and very tasty but could have been warmer. Perfectly crisp cutlets and just the right amount of sauce and cheese to let the chicken shine. The chicken parmigiana was cooked perfectly. VERY good! Not great but wow I was happy with our meal. We used to go on our summer vacation to Wildwood every year so going back was nostalgic for me to say the least. Fries were okay.įull disclosure Menz is a restaurant that has history for me and my family. How do you have a gamey burger? I thought I was eating camel. It smelled like when a male lion marks its territory at the zoo. it was under cooked, then we sent it back and the second was just simply disgusting. You have a better chance of finding a 4 leaf clover than to witness me not finish a meal.
To say the burger was a disappointment would be an extreme understatement. First one was flat, second one tasted like water. No better way to start a nice meal than with a ice cold crisp diet coke. Bathrooms could be a bit cleaner, my stall door looked like it hadn't been cleaned I'm quite some time. I especially appreciated the friendliness of each server we encountered. I got the Salmon ceaser salad, very tasty, dressing was very good too, big portions. Went today for 1st time, was enthusiastically greeted and brought to a section specifically not too loud as I requested. Not a lot of people danding though, but still enjoying the music. Music is awesome, the crowd is cheerful and happy. Prob one of the best bars I've seen in Philly so far (which isn't much) when full. And Sundays and Mondays from 8pm-2am is the best nights ever. It's HipHop at Dobbs now to include pop music and more. The new Dobbs On South is the place to be.
My favorite part about it is the inside bar.absolutely beautiful! You'll agree. Open Sunday's because of the kitchen run by owner, Johnny Daly, are actually very delicious and a step up from regular bar food. They offer plenty of parking to suffice for the crowd that fill their weekend nights with good times and pool games. It's signs hung outside are quite worn and weathered, but it's posted enough to know where you are. Daly's is an Irish pub located right off of Harbisson ave.
